hi love of my life :)
longggggg timeeeeee, huhhhhhhhh? my bad, my foul :(
anyways, how are youuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu? i miss you!! what's new in your life???
i know what's new in your life . . . AN IPHONE!!! is it not the most spectacular thing ever? i don't even have one and i just KNOW it must be the most spectacular thing ever. tell me all about your favorite applications :) i'm very curious.
i had sooo much fun with you last time i was in the city! i will try to come in again ASAP. i have some news to tell you, but i'd rather tell you on the phone than post it on the internet so we'll talk about that later :) it's not a crazy big deal though, just a little deal haha.
there's a chance that i might be coming into the city two fridays from now to pick up from the airport a friend from college whose coming to visit me for a few days. so if she does use jfk and if our schedules coincide, you and i should meet up in pretty nyc for a bit :) if it doesn't work out, i know i'll see you soon anyways!
you know what we should do this summer? head out east on the island to pick fruits and vegetables and go to farmers' markets :) i used to do that stuff a lot when i was little and i haven't done it in eons so my plan is to do much of that this summer. every other sunday when i was like in elementary school, we'd just hop in the car for "sunday drives" and it was essentially that; we'd drive east for maybe an hour or so and then turn around and drive back. a few years later we added the "picking fruits/veggies" into the mix. i spent memorial day weekend in the hamptons and in montauk and i just forgot how much i love it out east.
oh and i went to some garage sales in the hamptons haha. i think rich people are so used to paying a lot of money for stuff that when they charge exhorbitant prices at garage sales, they actually think they are charging good, affordable prices. coram garage sales are way better.
i know what youuuuu did memorial day weekend, i think, haha. correct me if i'm wrong: YOU WENT TO SEE COLDPLAY! a musical group whom i hear is a super big deal :) was it the best concert you've ever been to?! how did manny like it???
so i was watching the mtv movie awards tonight; I HOPE YOU WATCHED! i purposely shielded my eyes and covered my ears during the harry potter part because i didn't want to ruin the series for me by knowing what's gonna happen.
you mentioned that you had a grilled cheese sandwich in you last post . . . so i guess about a month ago you had a grilled cheese sandwich. that sounds really good about now. I LOVE THEM. i especially love them with tomatoes. oh god. heaven.
and i love the Golden Girls toooooo! it's so adorable :) i used to watch it a lot when i was little and i catch it every now and then on tv nowadays.
i haven't played my guitar for a good number of days :( i've just been doing other stuff i guess. i still want to learn though! i just need to fit regular practice in. because you need to build callusses on all your fingers to play, and i had built them up, but i believe they've healed and now it's gonna hurt to play again. which is a bummer.
i'm having a garage sale this weekend! hopefully, we'll rake in some bucks.
my accounting class starts tomorrow wooohooo! i'm curious.
Andy Samberg was a good claim, miss lady. he was funny tonight and he's always funny on SNL :) unfortunately i never watched x-men as a kid. i was more of a power rangers kind of girl.
haha, i love how when you wrote your last post, you were debating on which phone to get and now by the time i'm responding, you've made your decision! exciting how life goes by.
gosh, i hope you saw kristen stewart on the awards tonight. i need to hear what you think about her behavior haha.
i'm so glad you liked mockingbirddd! i know, isn't the south scary? but i kinda like it too. the south with the quaintness and countryness minus the racism could be a beautiful place to live.
haha, and as far as The Host, while i am entirely ebullient that you've made the purchase and while i'm hoping you have started reading it and can soon tell me your feelings and insights about it (because you have the best reactions/insights about anything/everything ever), i fully understand that you are a busy girl and can only read when you have the spare time. i will do my best to be very patient. i am ebullient though. SO ebullient. i love that word: ebullient. just the thought of you sitting in your apartment reading about Melanie and Wanderer and *sigh* Jared makes my heart swell with happiness. i listented to only 2 songs on repeat while i read that entire book. i don't even know how i found these songs. i think it was just random songs i had heard once on pandora and for some reason they just fit the mood of the book and i decided to listen to them over and over and over and over whilst i read.
Come Here Boy by Imogen Heap
Nothing Better by The Postal Service
Good music; they're good people.
*sigh* i wish i had my own copy of The Host right here with me so i could read some of it tonight. i'm a sucker for love stories. i'm in for a some major disappoint in life. oh well. a girl can dream i guess. though i prolly shouldn't =/
well, i hope we talk on the phone soon so i can talk to you about the other thing i wanted to tell you about :) and i miss your voice; it's quite sexy.
so tell me what's new in your life and i'll also be talking to you soon!
love love love
We like to claim people.
