i just ate too much.
hello gorgeoussss :)
i just finished watching golden girls while i ate dinner. and i thought of you! we should totally watch that show together along with the other billions of shows we MUST see together! i loveee Sophia. and the other ladies <3 and you <3
you know who else i love? michael jackson. i’m gonna go ahead an claim him not only because he’s a musical genius and kind-hearted soul, but because i totally had a crush on him when i was little. 1991 Michael Jackson when he made “Black or White” . . . that was some good stuff. i remember watching the video over and over and being shocked to see indians on tv haha cause they were in that video! i was like whoa. but also, i liked his dancing :)
what’s up with these key lime pie yogurts?? i feel like i’m not sophisticated enough for that. my taste buds are very unsophisticated.
did i mention how awful (and kinda good) i feel right now because i ate 2 tons of food just now? it was one of those nights with a wide assortment of food. momma made pizza, lo mein, grilled vegetables, and fried chick peas (more of a snack). it was a clash of like a million different food genres/ethnicities, but i ate all of them and not a little of each type either.
i love food!!!
your exam is this week!! wooohoooo you will ace it :) :) :)
i have my second online accounting exam this week =/ and i only have one week left to read my training materials. too much. i just want to watch tv.
i want to see True Blood! i saw Bill Compton on The View a few weeks ago and i was very intrigued! add that show to the list :)
oooooh i almost had a pet rabbit. so we have these rabbits that like to inhabit our lawn. and i found the rabbit hole! and my dad found a baby rabbit somewhere on the lawn. it was like smaller than the palm of my hand! we temporarily rescued it. when i came home from going watermelon shopping yesterday, i found the bunny in a box. i took a plate and put some milk in it and then put the bunny in the plate so it could reach the milk properly. but it didn’t drink the milk. anyways, we eventually decided we should put the bunny back by its hole. it scurried in. end of story. i plan on visiting him sporadically :)
what else . . . ohh, i bought myself my first pair of hi tops this weekend! i’m pretty excited about this. and thank goodness, i got them insanely cheap at the outlets and so i didn’t have to harm the piggy bank. i love when things work out like that.
ohhh, and i will let you know about my plans on saturday soon! things are kind of up in the air right now, but should be more defined soon.
apparently malcom in the middle is coming to nick at nite. have you ever seen that show? i haven’t, but i always used to hear about it. hmm . . . i’m intrigued . . .
wellllllllllllllllllllllll . . . i guess it’s about time i started my hw once again.
catch you later chicaaaa
We like to claim people.

Oh miss Amri. It has been a while. Now that the week from hell is over, I actually have time to blog. =)
I hope you had an amazing time with your friends and had a fabu weekend. I hope you have time for me this upcoming weekend! I'll probably be back on Long Island on Saturday. We should get together. I found this new nail polish and I thought about you when I bought it. The color is normal (pink), but the brush is what I found interesante... it's not a round brush, it's a FLAT brush! Completely revolutionary. Oh, and I only had to apply one coat and the color is perfect. Umhm.
We should definitely go out east, that would be nice. Go to Montauk or something. Yeah. =)
I'm watching the Golden Girls right now. It's so timeless. I feel like it appeals to women of all ages. It's the episode where Stanley and Dorothy get married again, but then Dorothy realizes what an ass Stanley is and doesn't marry him. He's always been a shady guy.
You know what I've really been into? The key lime pie yogurts. Omg, they are so good. I didn't think I would like the lime yogurt taste, but it's actually amazing. So I buy them all the time now, but Manny doesn't like them. Haha.
So I have to study for my next exam which is in like two weeks. Ugh, I hate it! I don't WANT to study so I probably won't tonight. But I need to start up tomorrow. I have training this week in NJ so I've been commuting with my friend Tina and it's been pretty good. At training they have cookies and brownies in the afternoons. Omg, amazing. How can they just put it all out there like that? Don't they know I have no will power? Clearly they do not.
I claim Bill Compton. He's the vamp in True Blood. I saw the first three episodes this weekend. It's definitely not a show to take lightly. These are definitely not the vamps from Forks. It's really graphic, I don't think your parentals would approve. I'm not sure mine would even approve.
I should try to get to bed early today especially since I'm not studying today. But I love tv and it's hard to pull myself away!
I went to my dance class today (since I can actually have some sort of life now that I get home at a decent hour) and it was so much fun! I like it because... it makes me feel good and alive. I like feeling my body doing all of these movements and I just have such a great time dancing. I heart it. I wish I could go more often.
Also - wtf is up with the weather? It's mid-JUNE and it's pouring like every single day. Where is my summer? I'm being robbed.
Anywho, hope to hear from you soon. <3

I'll never take this long again . . .
hi love of my life :)
longggggg timeeeeee, huhhhhhhhh? my bad, my foul :(
anyways, how are youuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu? i miss you!! what's new in your life???
i know what's new in your life . . . AN IPHONE!!! is it not the most spectacular thing ever? i don't even have one and i just KNOW it must be the most spectacular thing ever. tell me all about your favorite applications :) i'm very curious.
i had sooo much fun with you last time i was in the city! i will try to come in again ASAP. i have some news to tell you, but i'd rather tell you on the phone than post it on the internet so we'll talk about that later :) it's not a crazy big deal though, just a little deal haha.
there's a chance that i might be coming into the city two fridays from now to pick up from the airport a friend from college whose coming to visit me for a few days. so if she does use jfk and if our schedules coincide, you and i should meet up in pretty nyc for a bit :) if it doesn't work out, i know i'll see you soon anyways!
you know what we should do this summer? head out east on the island to pick fruits and vegetables and go to farmers' markets :) i used to do that stuff a lot when i was little and i haven't done it in eons so my plan is to do much of that this summer. every other sunday when i was like in elementary school, we'd just hop in the car for "sunday drives" and it was essentially that; we'd drive east for maybe an hour or so and then turn around and drive back. a few years later we added the "picking fruits/veggies" into the mix. i spent memorial day weekend in the hamptons and in montauk and i just forgot how much i love it out east.
oh and i went to some garage sales in the hamptons haha. i think rich people are so used to paying a lot of money for stuff that when they charge exhorbitant prices at garage sales, they actually think they are charging good, affordable prices. coram garage sales are way better.
i know what youuuuu did memorial day weekend, i think, haha. correct me if i'm wrong: YOU WENT TO SEE COLDPLAY! a musical group whom i hear is a super big deal :) was it the best concert you've ever been to?! how did manny like it???
so i was watching the mtv movie awards tonight; I HOPE YOU WATCHED! i purposely shielded my eyes and covered my ears during the harry potter part because i didn't want to ruin the series for me by knowing what's gonna happen.
you mentioned that you had a grilled cheese sandwich in you last post . . . so i guess about a month ago you had a grilled cheese sandwich. that sounds really good about now. I LOVE THEM. i especially love them with tomatoes. oh god. heaven.
and i love the Golden Girls toooooo! it's so adorable :) i used to watch it a lot when i was little and i catch it every now and then on tv nowadays.
i haven't played my guitar for a good number of days :( i've just been doing other stuff i guess. i still want to learn though! i just need to fit regular practice in. because you need to build callusses on all your fingers to play, and i had built them up, but i believe they've healed and now it's gonna hurt to play again. which is a bummer.
i'm having a garage sale this weekend! hopefully, we'll rake in some bucks.
my accounting class starts tomorrow wooohooo! i'm curious.
Andy Samberg was a good claim, miss lady. he was funny tonight and he's always funny on SNL :) unfortunately i never watched x-men as a kid. i was more of a power rangers kind of girl.
haha, i love how when you wrote your last post, you were debating on which phone to get and now by the time i'm responding, you've made your decision! exciting how life goes by.
gosh, i hope you saw kristen stewart on the awards tonight. i need to hear what you think about her behavior haha.
i'm so glad you liked mockingbirddd! i know, isn't the south scary? but i kinda like it too. the south with the quaintness and countryness minus the racism could be a beautiful place to live.
haha, and as far as The Host, while i am entirely ebullient that you've made the purchase and while i'm hoping you have started reading it and can soon tell me your feelings and insights about it (because you have the best reactions/insights about anything/everything ever), i fully understand that you are a busy girl and can only read when you have the spare time. i will do my best to be very patient. i am ebullient though. SO ebullient. i love that word: ebullient. just the thought of you sitting in your apartment reading about Melanie and Wanderer and *sigh* Jared makes my heart swell with happiness. i listented to only 2 songs on repeat while i read that entire book. i don't even know how i found these songs. i think it was just random songs i had heard once on pandora and for some reason they just fit the mood of the book and i decided to listen to them over and over and over and over whilst i read.
Come Here Boy by Imogen Heap
Nothing Better by The Postal Service
Good music; they're good people.
*sigh* i wish i had my own copy of The Host right here with me so i could read some of it tonight. i'm a sucker for love stories. i'm in for a some major disappoint in life. oh well. a girl can dream i guess. though i prolly shouldn't =/
well, i hope we talk on the phone soon so i can talk to you about the other thing i wanted to tell you about :) and i miss your voice; it's quite sexy.
so tell me what's new in your life and i'll also be talking to you soon!
love love love

I wish I was an X-Man
Hi missy, yes your song is quite amazing. Amazing, amazing. Fantastical. I heart it. Truly. =) How many people did you send it out to? I bet your dog is completely in awe of your incredible musical talents. Now I'll be waiting for your next song...
Last Saturday WAS fun, you have to come around more often! Especially around summer time when it's actually nice out. And we don't have to walk around until your feet bleed. =) We can always spend it in my apartment watching Lost bc it's seriously the best show on television. It's completely underrated. And we could also spend it pigging out. Manny is actually leaving for San Antonio for most of June so maybe... perhaps... you might even be able to spend a whole weekend here? I don't like to hope bc the excitment would just be too much. And we could totally eat Chipotle AND ice cream. I am all about that. OH! And I'll definitely take you to Crumbs Bake Shop. DELICIOSO. It's soooo bad for you, but you'll love it. I'll only take you if you actually eat the whole cupcake. I can see you just picking at one and leaving all the good parts. My favorites are the red velvet, raspberry swirl, oreo, reeses,... and many more.
I can't wait for you to read Harry Potter. And I am SO excited for the movie to come out. It comes out on July 15th. So you have like 2.5 months which is DEFINITELY enough time to read the entire series. It can be read in a week.
I am against your diet. I love junk food. I just had a grilled cheese sandwich just now and it was absolutely amazing. omg. I make manny make them for me. And I'm definitely having hot dogs & chips for dinner. Yeah, it's a healthy day.
I was never a huge fan of the Nanny. The voice was a little much for me. I hope it doesn't replace George Lopez either. Did/do you watch Golden Girls? I love that show, but Manny isn't as into it. Right now we're watching "Manny" tv, aka the 2008 World Series of Poker. I'm okay with it, Ray Romano is playing so as long as he's there, I'm not changing the channel.
A $20 guitar is awesome! You should totally teach yourself, it would be very cool. And you can add it to the instruments you know. And you should do that instead of reading your excel book, way better use of time.
Do not be excited about learning accounting. It is a life-sucking, soul-crushing subject. I mean I'm sure you'll learn stuff - esp if its a new subject for you.
This weekend was pretty good. Went out Friday. Napped most of the day through Saturday. Watched Wolverine (it was awesome). And today I went to mass, got some groceries, and now I'm home.
I’m claiming Peter Petrelli, Zachary Quinto, Henry Cavill, Oliver Queen, Andy Samberg (he’s like in between hot and not, but he is just TOO funny to not claim), Mario Lopez, Chris Pine, Hugh Jackman, and Taylor Kitsch.
Taylor Kitsch was gamit in the wolverine movie. My goodness... if I didn't love Gambit enough already... whew.
*drools* I'm going to have to post this on Tumblr. Did you follow x-men as a kid? I feel like you didn't. But I did and I was a *big* fan of Rogue/Gambit but in the movie series, Rogue is with Iceman. I don't know how I feel about that. Life is hard. Do you watch Friday Night Lights? Well he's in that too.
Doing anything special for mother's day? What'd you get your mama?
So I do want a new phone. I don't know if I'll be getting it anytime soon. It might be a few months, we'll see. I do want an iPhone, but as far as business goes, I'm not sure how practical it is. Like it would be way more responsible of me to get a Blackberry. Meh, I dunno.
Anyway, there's is nothing left in my life to talk about. So I'll ttys! =)

I am a musical genius.
DIANAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA :)
i finished my song =/
yikes!
i'm so scared haha. :)
i can't belive it's done. my vocals are finally recorded with my instrumentals. now all that's left is to send it out to people. let people other than myself HEAR me . . . HEAR it.
yikes!!
i think i'm gonna send it out tomorrow night :) and then . . . wait . . . and see what the world thinks of my "music." i'm scurrrred. but i'm also excited. to have someone other than myself and my dog hear me.
yikes!!!
hmm, as i'm reading your last post over, which i have in a separate window adjacent to this window, i'm realizing i already responded and we pretty much discussed most of what you commented about when i saw you last saturday. last saturday was FUN! i enjoyed you very VERY much :) :) :) hmm, there are some things though i need to address so read on :)
i want iceeeeeeeeecreammmmmmm and chipotleeeeeeeeeeee and bruschettaaaaaaaaaa and youuuuuuuuuuuuuuu :)
anyways, yes, read on.
so i want a siberian husky too! you get a boy and i'll get a girl and then we can have them mate :) it'll be like we're family. more family than we already are.
i am very intrigued by what you wrote about Confession, and the Act of Contrition, and absolution and all. i wish i could get me some of that.
i dunno about that House of Night series either. i probably will read it someday too, but i think i'll read Harry Potter before that :) i really wanna try and read it before the movie this year. wait. it comes out like sooon, right? as in, i thought it was coming out in december or something, but i think you may have mentioned recently that it comes out in the summer. yikes.
i love that you love cocoa puffs!!! i just had to let you know :)
i hope you went to Bhangra again this week! you need to teach me some moves.
zac efron is a GOOD claim. i feel like his latest movie is gonna be very cute and very good. very enjoyable in a very funny way. prolly not oscar worthy, but i think it'll be far from a "Crossroads." i can't believe i didn't claim ewan mcgregor :( i could shoot myself for that.
hmmm, i don't know if i have anyone to claim in this post. but that would be unacceptable. the whole point of this blog is claiming. hmmmmmm, i . . . . claim . . . . *thinking* . . . . JOSH FARRO. he's the lead guitarist for Paramore :) he's a cutie. i know you're not really into Paramore, but if you ever DO get into them, he's taken.
i'm starting to lose zeal on my diet. my diet is only successful when i'm in a good mood. but i've been kind of down/angry pretty often the past few days so i've been eating junk food and not drinking my required amounts of water to boot. if only i could lose my apetite when i'm feeling negatively, and only gain my apetite when i'm feeling positively :) that would prolly help me to lose some pounds MAD FAST haha.
i saw a commerical for these quiznos subs that are longer than a foot and cost only $4. i need to get me some of that.
The Nanny is coming to Nick at Nite. did you ever watch that show?? i used to be pretty into it. i hope when it comes, it doesn't replace george lopez though :( i'd be very sad.
ohhh guess what? my parents bought me a guitar for like $20 in a garage sale. we probably should have used that $20 for food or to pay bills, but how often do you come across an electric acoustic guitar in good shape for $20? i certainly don't have the money for a $300 guitar at this point in my life or for that matter, in the next few years of my life prolly haha. now all i need to do is teach myself how to play guitar. i'm excited!! but also nervous =/ i'm not writing any more songs until i can play guitar along with it.
i'm getting really sick of the excel book i'm using to learn the program. INFORMATION OVERLOAD. it keeps giving me like 2 million shortcuts and different ways on how to do everything. and now my mind is all jumbled and i haven't even gotten to the really good stuff yet. oh dear.
i'm excited to learn accounting :) it seems intriguing! i dunno how much SCC will teach me, but hopefully i'll learn a bit :)
alright mi amor, i'm gonna bounce, my bed is calling to me. look out for my song in your inbox hopefully tomorrow night or friday morning. be gentle on me haha. no, be BRUTAL. :) i need the truth haha.
*love love*

We run a little hot.
Hey Am,
I hope you’re not as boring in real life when people ask you how your trip was. I guess we’ll see this weekend, but a little excitement would go a long way. I’m glad you enjoyed the Grand Canyon – what do you mean you want to live there? Like in the Canyon (bc I would support that)? Or in the general Arizona area. Bc I think the southwest is a really beautiful area although I can’t say I’ve been to Arizona. I want to go, but like I’ve said before - thats a “wholesome family trip” for the future. But Vegas needs to be done before any kiddies and w/o the parentals.
And I fully support the all-you-can-eat-buffets. And I definitely don’t even understand how you lost 6 pounds since you’ve been back. That’s a LOT. What's your secret?? I can’t lose six pounds even if I tried. Although I’m so anti not eating.
Where did you go in California? I’m excited to see your pictures, I’m sure you look just fine. I’m very happy you’re coming! Even though it’s actually to see your OTHER friend and I just happen to be a side stop, but I guess I’ll take what I can get since you clearly can’t make a trip out here simply for MY benefit. It’s okay, I realized a while ago I’m way down on your list even though you’re like first on mine. Unrequited love. Not bitter. At all. Obvi.
I can’t make up my mind about the werewolves. I mean, in the book I LOVE the werewolves (team jacob!) just as much as the vamps bc that’s just hot. And Native American guys? Shit, FUCKING hot (I think it has to do with the fact that shirtless tan people > pale cold people AND the fact that I've always loved wolves as kid and decided I needed to get a Siberian Husky when I got older bc that's as close as I'm going to get). But in real life, sometimes I see them and I’m like meh. Like in the links you sent… meh - they look a little too Mexican. Maybe if you had actually found a descent looking picture like say perhaps this one:
Now see, this is something I can actually work with. Umm, the one all the way on the left is alright. The front & center one is okay. The two on the right are a little small. I still think Jacob (with short hair) is hotter. But maybe they'll look better in the movie.
I hope your singing goes well. I’m sure it sounds beautiful and when will you be sharing this wonderful song?
The “opening line” at Confession, huh? Yeah there’s a standard way to do it. You go in there make a sign of the cross and say, “Bless me, Father, for I have sinned. It’s been (amount of time) since my last Confession.” And then you just sort of tell him everything. When you’re done you say something like, "I am sorry for these and all the sins of my life." That’s how he knows you’re done. Then the priest might talk to you about what you said, like he might give you advice on how to try to avoid repeating the sins you’ve committed. Then he assigns you a penance and then you say the Act of Contrition, “O my God, I am heartily sorry for having offended you and I detest all my sins because I dread the loss of heaven and the pains of hell, but most of all because I have offended you, my God, who are all good and deserving of all my love. I firmly resolve with the help of your grace, to confess my sins, to do penance and to amend my life. Amen.” And then (this is the big part), the priest gives you absolution. I had to Google it bc I don't actually know what he says. All I know is the last line which is the important one, but Google says it goes something like: “God the Father of mercies, through the death and resurrection of His Son, has reconciled the world to Himself and sent the Holy Spirit among us for the forgiveness of sins; through the ministry of the Church may God give you pardon and peace, and I absolve you from your sins in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.” The end.
I’m glad you like the name Catherine. I like it too, I don’t know about the name Siena.
I looked into every vampire book/series I could find after I read Twilight. But they all just sound so… cheesy. I have heard of the House of Night series, but I’m too lazy to read it. It has something to do with a girl having to become a vamp right? Like she goes to a school? I remember looking at them at the Barnes & Noble around here. Sounds a lot like Harry Potter to me except they’re witches/warlocks. I feel like… I might read it someday, but I’m not in a hurry.
You moving to the city would be amazing. I’m surprised your parents would let you, but I support it! Even though you’d probably ignore me. Sigh.
Cereal is awesome. And by cereal I mean sugary cereals, mostly cocoa puffs. I love it. I also love donuts. My favorite is the vanilla frosting at Dunkin Donuts and the glazed at Krispy Kreme. YUM. I’m hungry just thinking about it. This is why I'm fat. Oh, have you seen that website? This is why you're fat. It's great... and sad, lol.
On Sunday, I think I’m going to do the March for Babies. Would you like to come? Let me rephrase that – could you come? Bc I realize hanging out more than one day in a row is scandalous but you know, it’s out there for your consideration.
I took a two hour nap yesterday evening after work. It was glorious.
Did I tell you that I decided to go to a bhangra dance class? Yeah, I get these urges once in a while to do something outside of my comfort zone and more adventurous. So on Monday I decided to look up some bhangra classes in the area and then I went on Tuesday. It was a lot of fun, good workout. And as for the ‘more adventurous’ part, I decided it would be fun to go white water rafting this summer. Care to join? Oh, we should go to Six Flags too. I’d like to actually DO things this summer. We’ll see how that pans out. What did you want to do this Saturday, btw? You should probably get a subway day pass.
I’m claiming Zac Efron (I know, I know. I caved. I’ve been on Zefron overload lately with his new movie coming out. He’s everywhere and he’s grown on me), James Marsden, Antonio Banderas, Orlando Bloom, Johnny Depp, Captain Jack Sparrow, Patrick Dempsey, Denzel Washington, Eric Bana, Ewan McGregor, Colin Farrell, Colin Firth, and Hayden Christensen. Also, I heart young Tom Cruise. But he’s like a quack now with his Scientology shit. But he was just so cute. Eh.
Yeah it’s a lot. That’s what happens when you don’t blog for weeks in a row. I have to make a list of everyone so I can remember. If only you blogged more often...
I want to go back to ND for a game this year. Esp since I didn’t go last year. Hm, yes. We’ll see, I just had the idea today so it’s still in the planning stages, but I would love to go. Oh, ND football.
I'm going out for drinks after work with a couple of people which is nice. We've been going out for 2 hour lunches everyday this week. Fantastic and so much better than being in the office. It's sooooo beautiful out today and I think it supposed to stay this way through the weekend. I really hope so bc it's been raining way too much.
So this has been REALLy long. I'll stop now and leave some for next time. Adieu.

I love cereallllllll
hey hottie,
“how was my trip?” you ask? i’m so bad at answering that question whenever people ask me. i just say, “it was gooooood, you knowww, it was coooooool, yeaaaahhhh.” i think i’m just not good at talking in general? ehh, but i do enjoy talking. hmm. maybe i’m just bad at describing things.
i’ll try though :)
i heart the Grand Canyon. i want to live there when i grow up.
so the trip was monday to saturday. monday, wednesday, and friday were spent in vegas, and tuesday was a road trip to california and thursday was a road trip to arizona. saturday was pretty much non-existent because we had like a 7am flight that morning.
i loved the drive over to california even more than california itself. just staring out the window at desert and nothingness really gets my heart pumping. and the drive to the grand canyon included driving over the Hoover Dam, which was hottt. man triumphs over nature, scoreee. my favorite part of vegas was, clearly, the all-you-can-eat buffets. soooo many buffets. i love fooooooooood. i’m glad i ate my heart out there though because i’m really depriving myself of almost everything i love to eat these days. i’ve lost like 6 pounds since i’ve been back, but this is around the time i would normally quit a diet and gain back any weight that i’ve lost. so i need to control that urge cause i have like a million pounds left to lose still. wish me luck.
i just made an executive decision to stop talking about vegas and save the rest to tell you in person when we go through the slide show of pictures from my trip. prepare yourself though because i look pretty scary in hmm mostly all of the pics. i’m so excited to show them to you. *deep breath*
i was in the grocery store a few days ago and i was flipping through some random tabloid (a favorite hobby of mine) and oooooooooh emmmmmmm geeeeeeeee, I CLAIM ALL THE QUILEUTE BOYS/MEN. they are surely going to steal the scene when they appear in New Moon. i can already feel it. i found pics online of the exact images i saw in the magazine. i’m definitely in love. and super hyped for the movie. as if i wasn’t before this.

GORGEOUS RIGHT??!!??
GOD.
anyways, i plan on recording my “singing,” if you can call it that, tomorrow morning, as in it’s already tomorrow so actuallyyy later THIS morning. i was supposed to do it yesterday morning but i spent all the time before work folding laundry. and i spent all of my time before work today at the hair salon. so i’m shooting for tomorrow. my recording studio will be in session. yeah, my computer will be on. tis all.
so you confessed EVERYTHINGGG??? tell me more about this confession! what was your opening line? like “what i’m about to tell you, mr. priest, you must keep secret.” yes, tell me more :) um, and yessssssssssss, of course i remember alanis’ “Forgiven.” i loveee her, and i loveee michael the man jackson. alanis is weird in like a super cool way and michael jackson is a psycho in an entirely . . . psychotic way, but seriously, i can’t hate on the music. good music is good music and i will listen if it is good.
i love the name Catherine!!!!!!!! it’s so classic, so classy, so upper-class, so elite, so sophisticatedly royal. along with me calling you Catherine from now on, can i also call you Siena??? i think Siena has a sexy ring to it.
i promise i’m gonna read harry potter :) it is in my destiny. i hope it changes my life. i have high hopes for it; i’m really looking for my next reading obsession.
have you heard of the “House of Night” series? i saw the authors (mother and daughter pair) on Rachel Ray yesterday. it’s another vampire series . . . . i dunno if i should even bother attempting it because i know nothing can compare to our Twilight. the fifth book in the series came out last month. also, i’m pretty sure i heard on the show that the series got picked up to be made into a movie. i dunno; one of us should try this out and let the other know if it’s worth her time :)
ahhhhhhhhhh, i can’t wait for you to read The Host :)
anyways, you know what’s funny? i just noticed on facebook today when i was on some of my indian friends’ profiles that they’re attending the facebook event of the Indian Summer thing you posted on my wall. so you should totallyyyyyyyyy go and just when you get there, yell out that you’re a friend of Amrita <3 and i will join you for the next one once i have my apartment in the city :)
i really enjoyed the picture of Jonathan Rhys-Meyers that you placed in your last blog post. i saw “August Rush” last week and he was pretty darn adorable in it. deliciousss.
alrighty, before i head to bed, i just have to say that i love cereal. i’m substituting that for my dessert these days and it actually is way more enjoyable than i thought it’d be. i’m not gonna lie though; i dream about donuts.
and on that sweet note, i bid you adieu <3

Team Jacob
Hello, peasant.
Yes, your picture is much better now. Cute and adorable, but loser-esque. Just like the wine picture, but whatever.
HOW WAS YOUR TRIP?? I want to hear ALL about it.
Regarding Twilight: I mean if Stephanie Meyer is just going to be a bitch and not write anymore Twilight books, wtf are supposed to do? Sit around and wait for her to decide if she might want to write another Twilight book someday? No, some of us don’t have the patience. I mean, I’ll probably end up reading it too bc the temptation is just too great. But my fear is that it will suck. And I heart Jacob so I’m kind of glad it’s from his point of view. But at the same time, no.
You know when we were talking on the phone about No Doubt… and how I feel old bc its like so exciting when the bands actually tour bc they haven’t done it in so long? Yeah, I think it was a solid point: I told my brother I was thinking about going to see No Doubt and you know what he said? He was like… “Who’s that?” That’s almost as bad as you and the “I’ve heard of them” Coldplay comment. Almost. At least he has an excuse… there’s like a 6 year gap. So yeah, now I feel old. But I put Don't Speak up as the new song bc it's hands down, my fav.
Excel is incredibly important to any job, especially any job involving any numbers (and even those that don’t). The business majors were required to take two courses on like computer applications at ND. It’s not very difficult and you already know the basics so I’m sure you’ll pick it up quickly. And accounting is also very important to any business position – business majors were also required to take two courses on accounting regardless of your major. Econ majors aren’t “business” majors at ND, they were part of the Arts & Letters school so I don’t think they had to take it either, but business majors had to take THREE fucking econ courses. It sucked. Econ is so much more… abstract. Accounting is much less theoretical and finance is somewhere in between the two. So… the point of all those words are: so how is it going with the whole… summer classes thing? Have you thought more about it?
I like the name of your song! Very cool. And I’m sure you’ll make it perfect just like you do with everything else. I want to be the first preview-er. =)
And I’m sure Vegas will be a big change in scenery from Coram. Very exciting! I don’t know how you look forward to plane rides, especially ones that go across the country – so freaking long. I also hate JFK. Every time I’ve flown out of there, it’s always a delay or something. Ugh. And it’s not clean or organized. Yeah, definitely one of the worst airports ever. You know what makes flying cross country bearable? Jet Blue. I love this airline. Free tv/movies the entire flight?? Count me in. I hope your trip goes/went smoother than all of mine tend to.
I didn’t like Casino Royale very much. I mean, it was like one big poker game and I was just like… omg. I mean I like Bond movies very much, but that one just didn’t do it for me. I haven’t seen Quantum of Solace either. Hot guy though, good claim. =)
I claim Leonardo DiCaprio, George Clooney, and James Franco.
I went to Confession last week. And I told the man *everything*. Like… everything. I was in there for a good half an hour at least. Do you remember Alanis Morissette’s song Forgiven from one of the greatest albums in the history of all time (Jagged Little Pill)? And that line that goes “I confessed my darkest deeds to an envious man”? Anyway, I thought about that. Not that I think he’s an “envious man” or anything, but I think the song just stuck. When will Alanis be back, btw, can we ever force her to go on tour??? bc she was kind of absolutely incredible. Well… she’s a little weird, but her music is fantastic. You know who else is a totally freak, but had one of the best albums ever? Michael Jackson - Thriller. I mean I know the man is a nut case. But I can't hate on the music.
Anyway, regarding church things, I picked my saint - Catherine of Siena. It wasn't easy and I don't know if it was right, but I mean... I like her so I feel good about it.
I hope that Jacob is hot in the next movie. And I hope he isn’t fugly as a werewolf bc that’s a big fear. Do you remember in Harry Potter… oh, wait, that’s right you HAVEN’T SEEN/READ it. Well, anyway, the werewolf in harry potter was ugly… UGLY, like nasty. I guess they went more for half human/half wolf than dog-like, which is what I imagined.
Speaking of HP, I just saw the new trailer for the upcoming movie. OH. MY. GOD. It is soooooooooooo amazing. Every time a new HP trailer comes out (bc there are multiple ones for every movie), I get goosebumps and I get incredibly excited. And then I have to talk to JudeAnne and Angel about it. *heart* I sort of want to claim some people from the HP series, but like... not bc they're hot but bc I love them. Sort of like... Seth Rogen. So yeah, I'll do that bc I don't want you claiming them when you've realized what you've missed out on these past 10 years. Ummm, so here's the list: Harry Potter, Ron Weasley, Cedric Diggory, Neville Longbottom, Seamus Finnigan, and Oliver Wood. Can't think of any others at the moment... hmm, yes.
Jonathan Rhys-Meyers is so fucking hot, I can’t even stand it.
Too bad he's an alcoholic. Anyway, I guess that's all for now. Ciao. <3

How dare fanfiction!
you may have won the carlisle battle, but who will win the carlisle war?
that was an empty threat; take it how you want. i myself don't really understand what it means. moving on . . .
haha, and i changed my picture! this time my picture is silly-looking (my synonym for your "loser" haha) like the original one you chose for me, but i feel my face looks less grotesque than it did in the other one. half of my silly pictures usually involve my face looking like the ugliest woman on earth, and the other half of my silly pictures involve my face looking like maybe the 15th or so ugliest woman on earth. i always choose the latter for posting purposes. this way every time i log on to this, i don't have to look at extreme ugliness. it makes my day go a little better :) you look adorably cute and even sexy in your silly picture. and you know it.
does Manny know how to count cards? i really need to learn. you and i should learn together!
i agree that Across the Universe got too psychadelic. i had trouble staying focused around then. the only thing that kept me going at that point was the fact that i was putting off writing a paper. it was an easy decision which one to put myself through.
and what is up with the Twilight fanfiction!!! i mean, first i should say, i probably will read it haha. but i'm still appalled and stunned at the thought of someone tampering with Twilight. and what if Meyer does decide to add another book? then i'm gonna have to block out everything from the fanfiction. and what if i can't sort through the real Twilight and the fake Twilight?? what if lose the sense of the real Twilight! what if i can never go back and re-do the mistake of having read the fanfiction in the first place! the horror!
i'm still gonna read it. i'll just have to worry about the repercussions later. oh life.
i love Twilight.
i think you should totally go to Coldplay because i know how much you love them! i on the other hand don't . . . really . . . know them too well =/ i know i know, Coldplay and Lost . . . two things i need to get into. and Harry Potter. so much to do, so little time.
you know what else i have to do! finish my song!! i've been working on it off and on for the past two weeks. i'm really limiting myself on the amount of time i spend behind that though because as my work situation grows more dire, my focus on doing something more productive for my future increases exponentially. i recently "discovered" craigslist and so i've been doing a lot of applying to jobs on that. i'm trying to also get a second job for the time being to supplement my income.
i borrowed this like 900 page book from the library called like the Excel Bible. so many positions require intermediate or advanced excel so i really need to learn this nonsense. so many positions also require accounting knowledge so i think it would be in my best interest to take an accounting class or two this summer. i just don't think i'm gonna get hired for a serious job without some accounting knowledge. it's way more crucial to economics and finance than i realized. why wasn't it a core course in my major??? wtf cornell?!
yeah, so i'm deciding between taking an online undergraduate course or two at suffolk or taking one graduate mba course at stonybrook. i really want to take the mba course. the benefits of the suffolk online courses though are that they are muchhhhhhhhhh cheaper and money is definitely a serious factor in my decision because i don't have a spare $1500 to spend out-of-pocket for an mba course. and another benefit of the online course is that if i did find a job, day classes wouldn't get in the way. but i know the quality of education would be much different :(
also, what's the difference between managerial and financial accounting? i know NOTHING about accounting at all :(
but yeah, i'm realizing after talking to different people that in order to get into business school next year, i'm gonna need work experience that proves i deserve to be in and want to be in business school. and i think i'm gonna need great excel skills and accounting skills to get a job like that. so i really need to decide on this course thing and register.
long story short, hopefully my song will be done soon :) like i said, i haven't been allowing myself to spend much time on it lately, but i think i'm gonna do some more work on it tomorrow. i figure, i'm gonna bring my gmat book on the plane so i have a good 10-12 hours round-trip of gmat practice set out for next week so i can allow myself a few hours tomorrow of music writing.
i've written the instrumentals for the first verse, then the refrain, then the chorus, then the second verse, then the refrain, then the chorus, then the bridge, and that's as far as i've gotten with the instrumentals, but the lyrics are all done. i probably only have another 20 measures or so to write. BUT, i'm re-thinking my chorus. i think it's too simple. and i don't want to play it safe on my BREAK-OUT PIECE haha. i could be being overly critical but when i listen to it with all the parts put together, it just seems too predictable. i want insane melodies and beautiful harmonies and much unpredictability. so yeah, i might need to re-write my choruses. and i need to fix some transitions. i don't have much experience with drums and so i think i overdo them a little at some points. much fine tuning is needed. i'll give you a preview once the full rough draft is done. then i'll do the rest of the fine-tuning. i can at least tell you the name of the song :)
"Justice Heals"
there you have it! i'd send you all the lyrics as it is now, but i'd really rather you heard it with music. and plus i really do want to expand the chorus' lyrics.
i think we should put Utada up on the site :) how about any song we put up needs to be up for at least 24 hours, but after that, it's fair game to be changed? i like Utada actually; "Come Back to Me" is pretty catchy. good choice!
i guess i am starting to get pretty excited about vegas :) i like being out of my comfort zone every now and then and i've been seeing a whole lot of coram for a while now so i'm looking forward to a change of scenery. i'm also looking forward to the plane ride. i hear it gets pretty bumpy when you're flying across the country so that might be an exciting feeling. this will be my fourth time flying so it still feels very exciting to me haha. jfk always excites me too . . . just seeing everyone on their way to new destinations and new adventures . . . there's so many different people going different places. very fascinating to my brain.
i think for tonight, i only have one claim. Daniel Craig. i was a big fan of Casino Royale, but i still need to see Quantum of Solace. that's something else to add to my to-do list.
i wish i clamed taylor lautner :(
i'm gonna go wash my face and head to bed . . . i'd go to bed without washing my make-up off but . . . i'm gonna try and be good tonight.

How long do we have to keep this song up?
Look bitch, I don’t know who the hell you think you are or if you remember who you’re talking to as if I’m just going to roll over and let you have him. Since you were less than cooperative, I’m taking Carlisle since I rightfully claimed him. Period.
Also, I hate your picture. Not cause you don’t look good, bc you do. But bc I picked loser pictures for both of us and now I’m the only one with a loser picture. Awesome.
Ew, Paul Bettany in the DaVinci Code was creepy, agreed. I associate him with A Beautiful Mind and A Knight’s Tale. He’s not pretty-looking, but he has… something.
Of course I saw 21, we have it. Manny & his love for all things poker-related, you know. And I saw Across the Universe (Diego loves it). It was good up to a point and then I completely lost interest. Although I agree that Beatles songs always = win. It just went downhill when it got a little too… ‘psychadelic’? But he’s a good claim, I admit. And I think RPatz could take some American-accent lessons from JSturg or Ed Westwick (which btw, I’m claiming).
Oh, and did you hear about the glorified fanfiction that is the upcoming Twilight tribute sequel? Yeahhhh, I thought you’d appreciate it… check it:
http://www.prlog.org/10203784-russet-noon-new-tribute-sequel-to-the-twilight-saga.html
I mean, I’m no lawyer but isn’t this… maybe, illegal?
Anyway, Coldplay is coming to Connecticut in May and I really, really want to go. I’d invite you, but I’m still shunning you and your absurd “I’ve heard of them” comment. Unless you become an actual fan and decide to go w/me bc I would support that. It would be soooo much fun, you in or what?
You know why KStew rejects RPatz’s affection? It’s bc he’s stinky. That’s right. I read it on MTV.com news so clearly it must be completely factual.
Also, I claim Ryan Reynolds, Chace Crawford, Ed Westwick, Ian Somerhalder, Kellan Lutz, Tom Welling, and Taylor Lautner. The last one is more of a safety claim. In case he ends up being super hot in movie #2.
Btw, how’s your music coming along? And when can I hear it?
I was talking to my friend Katie, who just went to Vegas/the Grand Canyon, and she said the Grand Canyon was absolutely incredible and really wants to go back. There’s just a few days left until your big trip – how are you feeling? I read Las Vegas is really feeling the pinch bc no one wants to spend/gamble these days. So you’re going to have to single-handedly boost that entire economy.
Random: have you heard of this girl from Japan: Utada? She's this pop singer, she's huge in Japan and I heard one of her songs - Come Back to Me - and its pretty good, I like. I vote for that song up on the blogger.
It's almost Friday. Joy and joyness.

oh lesbian crushes
ah yes, my bad, i may as well speak directly to you, shouldn't i? no need for pretenses or affectations as if anyone else was out there :)
that was a mighty fine list of claimees in your last post. the only place i know paul bettany from is The Da Vinci Code . . . i'm a little scared of him =/ but i see the sex appeal. tru tru.
I have developed a lesbian crush on Kristin Stewart. but it's very similar to yours. sometimes i'm like . . . i can't stand you and your acting. like in the scene in Twilight where she's in the hospital bed telling Edward to never say things like that he's going to leave her for her own good. and then sometimes i see her in an interview or something i'm just like . . . how could robert pattinson not want you.
um, and Megan Fox, yeah . . . i'm pretty sure i was in sheer disbelief as to her gorgeousness when she came on the big screen in Transformers. but my only issue with her, which makes her somewhat less appealing to me, is that she knows she's amazing, too much so. her pictures are either too whorish or the exude too much "i'm the hottest person you've ever seen and you know it and i know it."
i'm SO excited for the new fast and the furious movie. that set of movies is one of the few sets that my brother and i both enjoy. michelle rodriguez is great though i guess i don't know the full extent of her greatness being that i don't watch Lost =/ my bad, my foul.
how did your laundry and studying go this weekend???
btw, i'm keeping carlisle. so sue me! i don't have much money to my name anyways haha.
also btw, you put music on the blog!!!!!!!!!! your geniousity is once again showing. i JUST got a lesbian crush on you.
should we claim lesbian crushes too? cause i'd claim gwen stefani and hayley williams and old school mariah carey.
oh and, did you ever see 21? i NEEEEEED to claim Jim Sturgess. he's soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo amazingggggggggggggggly amazing. and adorable. lookee how cute he is:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5B4YKa9n3ls&feature=related
and to top it off, his singing is sexy too. this was the song i originally was trying to put on the blog:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-4g_wXJgjic&feature=related
if you haven't seen across the universe, you must you must you must. the music is quite fun. who doesn't love beatles' covers?
anyways, i suppose i'm gonna head to bed. i hope you're sleeping well chica . . .

lesbian crushes, carlisle is mine, & lots of claims
Since when did you claim carlisle? I feel like I distinctly remember saying he was mine in one of our emails. I feel a dispute coming on. Also, you can talk to me directly in your post. It's like an email... no one else is reading it except you and me bc no one else is enough of a loser.
So I saw I Love You, Man last night. Very good. Did I claim Dane Cook? bc I am. I'm also claiming Brady Quinn, Paul Bettany, Heath Ledger, Brad Pitt, Jake Gyllenhaal, Hugh Grant, Jude Law, Cristiano Ronaldo, Vince Vaughn, & David Beckham. Mmm, there's so many more delicious looking men... I want Wolverine and Gambit from X-Men... and maybe Iceman too. And Jim Halpert from the Office. I won't put them in the column right now as I really shouldn't be posting at all and I have no time. But later...
Also, I feel like I'm developing a lesbian crush on Kristen Stewart. I had this natural aversion to her bc I sorta, kinda despise Bella. But something about her is completely sexy. But then sometimes I look at her and I'm like... you look like a fucking pothead. It's a little of both, still undecided.
You know who I would totally do if I was a guy? Michelle Rodriguez, the girl from Fast & the Furious and also from Lost (if you were cool enough to watch the show, you'd know). She's not like... "pretty" per say, but she is just so hot. Oh, and Megan Fox... she's whoa hot, like it's unfair-that-she-exists hot.
Anyway, that was a lot of nothing. I should get to studying/doing laundry. Ugh... this sucks.

boy do i get tired after a long day of claiming people
what UP :)
so i just put in a good amount of claiming. it feels good. claimage is sweet. i just need to make one thing clear though; i must qualify one of my claimees. i claim robert pattinson, the PERSON. this is because his positives such as his overwhelmingly adorable laugh and personality surpass the negative: the acting he did in the film Twilight. i just have to say though Robert Pattinson himself . . . well, i could just eat him up with a spoon; he's that sweet.
i also have to say that i think my cohort in this claiming spree has done a fantabulous job with our new layout <333 i'm a big fan :)

and here we go...
Okay... so this is the new blog and I'm loving it. I've been playing around with it for about 2 hours now and it's exhausting. It's a whole new blog server than I'm used to so it took forever to figure out what was going on. I'm clearly getting too old for this if I can't pick it up faster. Do you like it? bc if you hate it, we can totally change it.
I made your column on the right and I realize you have more claims than I listed for you, but I just don't remember them all. So when you remember them, just add them. Do you like the pictures I chose for us? I think we look totally normal and sane.
Also, I'm going to go ahead and claim Paul Rudd bc he is just on fire lately. Are you going to watch his new movie?
Anyway, that's all for now. I better not be the only one posting on this thing!

I don't really remember ALL the bodies that belong to me =/ But, I do know a handful of my most prized possessions.
I CLAIM JEFFREY DONOVAN (real human - actor: Burn Notice)
I CLAIM JARED HOWE (fictional character: The Host)
I CLAIM IAN O'SHEA (fictional character: The Host)
*grumbling* I guesss my memory is good enough to recall that Ana claimed Edward (needs no description) and Jacob (same) and Emmet (sameee) so yeah, I'll just let that go. But . . .
Note: None of the following 3 characters will have any description beside their names because that's just degrading . . . if you don't know where these names are from, get away from here.
I CLAIM JASPER HALE
I CLAIM CARLISLE CULLEN
I CLAIM SETH CLEARWATER (He mighttt be a bit young, but he's adorable. I claim him as a friend. Until he is of age.)
I think I've done some good claiming tonight.
Sweet dreams everyone; live and love intenselyyy.

Hello there.
This is the "amri" part of "amriana" here. Hello there :) First, a big up to the "ana" part of "amriana." What uppp <3
Now, getting down to business. It's really quite simple. Ana and I like to claim things (people, specifically). It doesn't matter if the people are real or not; fictional characters work just fine for us. No one is safe from our desires of claimage.
Long story short, our intense passion for claimage recently brought us to the point where we realized we no longer remembered who belonged to whom. And speaking on behalf of the both of us, we don't like to lose track of what is rightfully ours.
Hence, here we are at blogger in an attempt to straighten out our property.
Well let's get things going! Ain't nothing to it but to do it.
